WOOD-MIZER CANADA – Wood-Mizer Products Inc. has launched a new sawmill specifically for the wood enthusiast that wants to personally cut dimensional lumber.

The LT10 is now the smallest sawmill in the company’s product line. Similar to the popular LT15, this hobbyist mill is built with the same integrity and is operated with a simple, hand-push feed system. Wood-Mizer engineers point out that the LT10 is equipped with a 7.8hp engine featuring a pressured lube system and will cut 55-100 board feet per hour. The sawmill handles 24” diameter logs up to 11’ long. An unlimited number of 7’ bed extensions can be added to accommodate long logs. Another unique feature of the LT10 is that it breaks down and can be stored in the corner of a garage.

“Wood-Mizer wanted to design an entry level mill for weekend sawyers who love the idea of cutting their own lumber but want to minimize their investment,” explains Dave Mann, VP – Portable Sawmill Division. “This mill is a complete package and comes ready to saw.”
